Corporates are increasingly taking social goals into account while running their businesses. An architect with an inclusive mindset may also tackle social issues through his or her work. Chilean architect Alejandro Aravena, 2016 Pritzker Prize winner, is a great example.
CUHK School of Architecture has invited Ms Iris Chan, who is in charge of the ACT Social Awareness (ACT), a training and education arm under the Social Enterprise Business Centre, the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS). She will be sharing on key concepts regarding social innovation, including “social enterprise”, “social entrepreneurship” and “user-centred design”. All CUHK and public members are welcome!
*The lecture will be conducted in English
